great location but mattress too soft

The staff were friendly and always willing to assist! The room was spotlessly clean and great location near the water bus station, dining options, and sights. I loved the fine city view from my room.

The mattress was too soft for my liking, which caused some discomfort during sleep.

We had a comfortable bedroom. Its location just close to a grand showpiece square was great and magnificent. Visiting restaurants and pubs close to the hotel was easy.

Room furniture, no mini bar and no kettle in the room. The room was dark and uncomfortable, old furniture. Breakfast was scarce.

Oi, I loved how close this place was to St Marks! Only a quick stroll away, and the staff were ever so helpful, giving us cracking dinner tips. Only downside? The shower could've been a bit more powerful, but still had a smashing time!

booked a room with a terrace facing the lovely church. the location was prime, near to san marco square and the bridge of sighs and the main stops of the waterbus lines. a cool bonus was nearby caffe molinari, that offered tea and coffee.

I would consider this hotel As quite pricey. But if you compare it with the rest of the hotels in Venice, it is definitely value for money. You are in the city centre. Perfect location! Just a 5 minute walk from the water bus station. Staff was friendly. But, all on all, awesome location! It is 10 minutes walk from the cathedral.

A little pricey, as mentioned above, but reasonable when compared to other hotels in Venice.

The check-in experience was appalling. The initial room was dark and smelly, disappointing, but they only reluctantly offered a better room after I raised my concerns forcefully. I was charged more than what was initially stated for a different room.

All round excellent hotel. The staff were first class, very friendly and informative. The location was perfect for sightseeing and amenities. For the price & location the rooms were excellent too. Would happily recommend to anyone.

The staff at the hotel was very tourist friendly. The location is great to visit Venice because it is very central, yet away from the noise of the people on the streets. Very convenient vaporetto station at San Zaccaria, where you can take #1, or # 2 from the train station to the hotel or viceversa. The breakfast was plenty and very good!

Excellent location - just a couple minutes from San Marco, but away from the hustle. 24 hour reception - very helpful and welcoming staff. Decent sized double room with en suite. Good breakfast (continental style). Sky TV in room. Lift to upper floors. Left luggage after check-out. A really relaxing place to stay.

One of the pillows was too hard... (English people have to have something to moan about, right?).

The hotel was a wonderful starting point with easy access to iconic spots like the bridge of sighs just a short stroll away. The charming local streets offered plenty of good dining choices. It reminded me of home with the friendly staff and their attentive service.
